Jose Bautista is officially a free agent. Anyone? He hasn't been particularly good the past couple years. I'm not even sure the Crawford Boxes could resurrect him. He did still walk 86 times last year but mehh.

Are we going to be able to get in the running with Otani? I thought we couldn’t sign any int free agents for over 250k. MLB trade rumors had him as a possible signing this offseason as a DH/RHP

We can’t give anyone a bonus larger than $300k, and there are ~12 other teams who can’t either. The max bonus he can’t get is $10M so it’s unlikely we get him.
