I still marvel at how large of a sack Pressly has. To shut down the shite in the 8th then get through the 9th is the stuff legends are made of.

Pressly is no Ken Giles, that's for damned sure

So, I’m gonna share something with yall

Some know I lost my dad back in July. As did 5 Deep some time before that, I think

Last game he was able to follow with me on the radio off my phone in the hospital was the combined no hitter in NY. Last game he watched some of was a 3-2 loss in Oakland when Framber and Maldy gave them 3 unearned on a Sunday

He brought me to Dome as a kid and got me hooked when we lived there 48 years ago. I really want this Series for him

Tmrw I am going to his home reluctantly to move everything out for closing next week. It’s been difficult to bring myself to do it.

The guy under contract to purchase the home. Jose Cruz Castellanos. The last out tonight was Castellanos, and my favorite player growing up for Astros was Jose Cruz. You really can’t make this shite up

Last two games, the bullpen has pitched 7 innings and given up 2 hits and 1 run with 11 strikeouts. Savage.

First upvote Good luck tomorrow.

And for all the shite in the world that makes no sense, it's so nice when the stars align for once and it all comes together.

All of the trolls and Astros haters asking non-stop “How can you be fans of cheaters.”, etc…

I know most of us regulars in the DAT have similar attachment to memories with the Astros and loved ones.

This right here, and stories similar to this is why we were here during multiple 100-loss seasons, the ‘scandal’ and will be here for anything else that may happen.

So it just hit me that in many instances this year (and as recently as a few days ago), Chas would have moved to LF and Dubon in Center. We were likely saved by Yordan being due up 2nd if there was a 10th inning so Dusty wasn't going to take him out.
