Well this lineup is set up for failure when you have Mr Automatic out leading off and your DH is as usefully as a mannequin standing at the plate

I don’t know why I expected any run support with Javier on the bump

The tendency tonight seems to be get good ABs(minus Altuve) and then swing at a shitty strike 3 with a full count.

I didn't know that - he's been solid in the postseason tho.

This team simply cannot hit. They suck and that's that. No hitting, dogshit contact and garbage approaches at the plate.

Looks like there won't be any scoring by the Astros tonight unless someone just happens to go yard

Too many holes in that lineup

Can Altuve quit swinging at the first fricking pitch every at bat. Jesus Christ dude

I've tried to psychoanalyze this and I think he's just so used to it working, he's stubborn and waiting for it to start working again.

In other words, he's not gonna stop doing it.

Peña has to stop being a sucker on the breaking ball. Nola threw it at him 3 times in a row knowing it would eventually get him

Had Nola on the ropes until that inning. Here comes a few 10 or less pitch innings and they’ll swat a HR on a mistake pitch.

Game over

First time Nola has had a routine inning. Need to make him keep throwing that hanging curve like he’s done a few times and do something with it.

Nola gave us our chance to score and Dustys stubbornness shite all over it. We're not scoring tonight.

with both Altuve and Alvarez due up ... Nola knew he could take a breather and get back into rhythm... easy outs, easy inning.

Reminder that we should be up 2-1 if Baker wasn’t a managing game 1…literally any other manager at any level woukd have pulled JV after his postseason track record, and woukd have had a hard take on Diaz on that 3-0 count in the 10th.
