In 2017 I loaded up last minute and went to game 7 of the CS. Talking like made the decision at noon, left the house at 1 in the afternoon and made the 4 hour drive to Houston without tickets, found some on stubhub on the way down. Dumped the car at hotel and grabbed an uber to MMP.
Had a blast. Not sure I'll ever want to spend World Series money for tickets so seeing them win a CS game 7 was awesome.

I have a native Houstonian friend who lives in NYC and is now going tomorrow. Looked at flights and it’s still stupid expensive. I’m jealous of him, he’s a full on troll and will be on it tomorrow

I flew out to LA for game 6 in 2017.
My son and I are very impatiently patiently waiting for Astros to punch their tickets. We will be at Game 1 in Houston (if they can eliminate NYY).

I bought tickets 4 hours before to Game 7 vs the Nats. I’ve been weird about going to a WS game since, probably the most distraught I’ve been from a sports game experience in person in my life. Not sure if I want to go back this year. If you haven’t been to a WS game and can swing it it’s incredible.
