Tonight was really the night for Houston. Facing a guy they’ve hit well and Urquidy going. E-Rod just came out throwing fuzz and the first two innings batters couldn’t adjust to it.
Then you get the lead off guy in the bottom half and an 0-2 count to Verdugo who you walk and then things snowball. Even got a pretty routine looking double play ball that you absolutely boot that could have gotten you out of then inning only down 1-0
shite just happens so fast if you don’t throw strikes and everything the Red Sox put in the air travels out of the park

I’m assuming you mean Pivetta. He was gross in that long outing against Tampa.
But he’s a career 5+ ERA guy and his numbers this year were pretty shite. Wouldn’t surprise me if he shoved

Didn’t really have a better option. Luckily him and Maton didn’t throw many pitches. Top 4 guys should be good for tomorrow. Could have been a lot worse.

Just counts as one though. Odds are long, but they’ve been long before and this group has battled. Top of the lineup needs a complete reset and force good things to happen instead of waiting for things to happen. Need a miracle from the staff

Shake up the lineup. Move Brantley down for sure, Tucker into the 2 hole perhaps or Correa. Pray Greinke has one last trick up his sleeve

Yeah there was no reason to carry him and Meyers. Either Meyers is healthy enough to roster or not. We needed the extra arm in a 7 game series against a lineup like this
