Man, I wish you young kids would stay out of that Rangers thread.

Enjoy the win, and enjoy the DAT. No need to shite in their little Arlington party.

Has to be. Not sure I love his matchup against this lineup, much more discipline and less swing and miss than Minnesota. Might be another high scoring one

Happy to be wrong about Dubon. Dude is barreling everything. This lineup is the way.

Even the hitless guys (Bregs/Mike) had some nice swings out there.

If Urkel can give us a few solid innings we in business baws!

Rangers will have something on them that they are not familiar with and have struggled with, and expectedly so

Agreed! No need to to do anything to encourage them to come over here. Besides, if you dish it out when you win, you better be willing to go over there and take their shite if we lose.

This is the kind of veteran leadership that makes the DAT great. Intangibles that you won’t find in any fancy analytics.

I haven’t been there to know, but every team has those “guys”

It’s the ones that start threads and have been around that do it that really irk me

WCA seems to think the thread went on hiatus during the lean years and only came back around in 2015.

I almost got sucked into the thread but rules is rules. I stay out of opposition threads with the expectation they stay out of ours.

But I remember the true OGs with us for Jesus Guzman, Carlos Pena, Scott Feldman, Lucas Harrell, LJ Hoes. Success brought us new friends but to say we weren't around ignores these scars. How many times did we watch Chris Carter strikeout? Bud Norris as our ace. Jordan Lyles was the hopeful future. We got them scars man!

Look, the WCA guy has some personal demons

He’s one of those guys that you can set his O/U of true friends at 1

He struggles with his sexuality and/or someone who emotionally hurt him badly

Impossible to have sympathy for him, but best not to engage him

I remember the off-season thread when we signed Charlie after he barely pitched in 2016. It was the first fairly big free agent move if I’m remembering right (before Reddick, Beltran and the McCann trade that same off-season).

We were like you have to be fricking kidding me. Ludlow did things his own way

I think we go back to 2008 or so. Would have been my first baseball season on the site. It was a pretty rudimentary unorganized mess but we existed. I went damn near all the way back in my posy history and found some early pre "DAT" threads. If was mostly post some random thought about a particular game moment or astros news and it would draw in the baws for discussion

Is that what he was talking about, calling us Astros fans soft? I thought he was complaining about us not getting into a battle of retard-wits with him, but he was merely making a statement about our peckers?

Damn strange, those Arlington folks.

I posted in the Astros community thread on the MLB site back in the Braves/Cardinals playoff years

Astro Hop was my nemesis on there for several years. It was Game 3 in ‘05 when Garner left Oswalt in for 52 pitches in that fateful inning we gave up the lead that we finally came to an agreement and began to realize we shared common ground

I only say this b/c I recall telling him after that game and the WS that he should join our discussion on Tigerdroppings, so I know my following of the Astros on this site was around that time
