Stros are waiting at the door for him

Did she say years of abuse? That's right, you formed your opinion without reading her words.

So yeah, call me crazy, but this looks like a woman that is trying to get back after her ex AFTER they were divorced
I don't know if you are crazy or not, but it is clear your opinion was formed without considering what she wrote.
I read it, and its a bunch of BS. Russell is an Ahole that took his anger out verbally on a wife of barely over a year. She had a miserable time as a MLB player's wife raising a single kid on her own and he was a jerk.
Now they are rightfully divorced.
I see absolutely no reason for him to be suspended outside of him not being a great player and the Cubs suspending him because its the right thing to do publicly.
If you are going to write a blog post and allege physical abuse, then add some pictures. Simply saying "physical abuse" is such a BS SJW thing to do for social media clicks.

She said he put hands on her more than once. I doubt anything will. Come of this due to the time passing unless she did take pictures and has them saved or witnesses to corroborate.

How do you reconcile this?

And yet no suspension yet for Russell. Maybe it takes a little bit more than just an accusation.
Osuna refused to appeal his own suspension out of his own good will.
You are falsely equating MLB investigations with a real criminal investigation. It's scary to think anyone believes unelected individuals in the MLB office have jurisdiction over someone's guilt or innocence.

WHy the frick couldn’t she wait until the off season?

Reconcile what? He is divorced and rightfully so.
Russell is like 24 now, his ex wife was 21 or so when they were married. He now has his 3rd kid with 3 different women. His wife had a kid in August of 2015 and his ex gf had a kid like 3 months earlier in 2015.
He was a pro ball player living in Chicago and during all this he was still under a rookie contract only making like $500k a year. He's an idiot for knocking up all these women.
I'm saying being an Ahole is not against MLB rules or against the law. He's absolutely guilty of being an Ahole and an idiot, but there is absolutely no evidence of him abusing his wife that I have seen.

Confusing situation as she initially denied abuse and then refused to cooperate.
Her friend confirmed it many months ago, but he's a cubs player so she was full of shite, amirite?
And guess how many women, who have been beat, deny they have ever been harmed by their husbands??? Hint: A lot

Since when do we judge one spouse based solely on a blog post by the other?
Again, what have you seen that Russell physically hurt her? If he did then I absolutely agree he should receive a suspension and possibly criminal or civil penalties.
This is a 22 year old girl that self admits Russell was her first boyfriend. She is now divorced from a cheating MLB player back living in small town. Maybe she is right, but it also has every single red flag of an upset millennial running to social media to humiliate her ex.

what do you think is her motivation to write this right now?
As you say, they are divorced and both have moved on.

Your standard is abysmal.
I could apply that to every situation and everyone would be guilty based on the stupid standard of “well, she clearly has no motive to say anything about it now, so therefore her story must be true”.
Think about the absolute awful viewpoint that is.
Hell, a simple one is spite for some past wrong.
There, that is one reason.
Maybe she didn’t get enough money in the divorce.
There is two.

Women have a bottomless pit of attention they require.
This is an easy time for her to get her name out.

Who said they moved on? I said they are divorced and their crappy relationship is over as it should be.
Are you honestly saying that an ex wife and mother of a Pro ball player's kid has 0 reason to run to the media anymore?
All I'm saying is that if she was verbally abused that's terrible but what laws or MLB rules were broken? They are no longer together so its over.
If she was physically abused, where is the evidence? If I was writing a blog post to shame my ex about her physical abuse I would sure as hell include some photographic evidence, medical records, etc. that verified what I was saying.

It seems a little inconsistent to believe the first part and be sure there second part is b.s.

So every person that gets into an argument with their wife is now likely guilty of physical abuse also?
I said he's an Ahole because he cheated on her and has kids with 3 different women. They are divorced now because of that and other reasons.
What evidence do you have that he deserves a suspension?

There's really no reason to 100% believe it's true. Doesn't mean he didn't do it or more than likely did it, it just would be very naive to automatically believe her.

When did we become a society that automatically condemns people without evidence?
