It's hilarious and sad that recognizing the most fundamental aspect of human biology has to be referred to as being old school.

Yeh, and nobody tribalistically supports the accuser who they have never met to a cult-like degree.
Not taking a position either way, but an ex-wife has plenty to gain from lying (specfically, more money in the divorce settlement). Even an ex-GF or a one night stand can make money off of lying, via a lawsuit.
Doesn't mean THIS accuser is lying, but the claim that there's no possible material gain is easily debunked.

Holy wall of text on her blog! Anyone have the clifts?
Russell is by no means a star, more of good utility player. I have a hard time believing that if there was serious allegations here that Russell wouldn't be suspended by the organization. I'm sorry but he isn't good enough to let something like this affect the team publicly.
How long have they been together? Married in 2016 and its 2018? So there was years of abuse but she decided to marry him still?
Russell by most accounts does appear to be an A-hole with multiple women pregnant and certainly cheating. But Melisa not cooperating with MLB, marrying him in 2016 after abuse, and now posting this blog just looks like an angry ex spouse trying to get back at him.

He appears to be an Ahole certainly. They are both young and she was extremely inexperienced with men. He was a struggling and very busy baseball player. It appears he likely drank a lot.
I don't see anything in the blog post talking about any sort of criminal actions. It was a bad relationship that is now over.
What would he be officially suspended over?
