listen to theisman when peerless price is tackled....no play that was remotely miraculous had happened all day and his comment is completely out of place and eerie foreshadowing

What plays can be reviewed when no flag was thrown?

(In this case, there was no flag for illegal forward pass, but it was reviewed anyway.)

I know now days, every scoring play is automatically reviewed for confirmation. I think at this time it was up to the refs discretion if they wanted to review it, especially since it was within the last 2 minutes of the half.

This game was so insane I think this is the first play that I actually remember when and where it happened, like "JFK" or "Challenger" moment for me when it comes to sports. (Just as far as impact on my memories and shite, obvs not really:importance big picture)

Was at Monster poboys in Mandeville with my family watching when it happened live. Later that year in December was the Saints 1st playoff win, which I remember like yesterday as well ...those 2 plays were what hooked 12 year old JayVegas702 on the NFL for sure.

Yeah, weird he said “there’s the miracle”. Definitely told to be on the lookout for something at the end of the game.

Buff was trailing; they got a clock stop in FG range

Theeseman was engaging in hyperbole

zero foreshadowing

A QB running around without a shoe and completing a pass and then the receiver making it out of bounds to stop the clock - somewhat miraculous play.

Yeah the commentary in the pre-snap about him losing his shoe and all of his ankle wrap hanging off during the play would be a huge context clue as to why he called it like that. The QB running to his right with no shoe and his wrap dragging 3 feet behind him on a big play to gain yards and stop the clock for a big FG attempt IS kinda out of the ordinary.
