I, for one, would love to see Jalen Hurts against an NFL secondary

I came into this thread expecting all of the CFB homers on this board to be vehemently arguing that Bama would trounce the Browns. Very surprised.

Did you read the rest of the sentence?

When it comes to a team of players. Your 1st round pick status becomes irrelevant as many 1st round picks are jumped over people who keep getting better.

-Alabama runs a clean program. They are also the most scrutnized organization in professional amateur sports, given how so many of there players are arrested each offseason in witch hunts, but subsequently cleared to play as soon as the historicaly impeccable Alabama justice system weighs all of the evidence and realizes there’s no way a player with a 4.5 forty time could ever be caught by one of there officers.

you should be a GM, 1st round picks are actually really important in the NFL

Your logic is "jalen hurt is a future 1st roudnee and the Patriots have no 1st round pick QBs.. advantage "roll tide"

It's a retarded example.

Patriots could have many more 1st round picks. Them holding on to Mingo last year would not make them better just cause he was a 1st round pick. Players progress and others do not. Teams in NFL has players from 2000-2017 -- that's a large group of people to pick from. Having a few rookies on the 1st round does not give you an advantage.

The patriots entire team could be all former 1st draft picks and not be as good as they are now.

In the history of college hoops, there were a few teams with great centers ready for nba. A few guards were ready.

A forward here and there.

Most ncaa champs would lose by 20+ to the 8 seed in the eastern conference.

Team games need a team. 1 or 2 greats is not enough.

Worse for football..

Exploiting a weak link. Over and over.

JFC man it's a satirical article

You would think that the Pats being used as the worst team, coupled with the argumentative points in favor of Bama would clearly give that away

I didn't think it was really funny, but it definitely wasn't serious.

I am so disappointed by this board right now that don't know this is satire of the people that say this every year.

The best was when he tweeted yesterday that red zone turnovers were a good way to pin your opponent deep. I was rolling at the twitter responses.

so happy football is back because he kills it with his tweets and the responses are still gold, even though more and more people are aware of his schtick.
