For all the hand wringing about NIL, the portal, and conference realignment, CFB has been absolutely booming. Having one of its better years ever. Will that continue? I have no idea, but at least right now the sport is extremely healthy.

is it somehow harder to click the ESPNU channel instead of the EPSN2 channel? That's not an excuse anymore.

ESPNU is in millions of fewer homes because you have to get it on a separate package unlike ESPN2.

I'm pretty sure having to watch whatever it was that Iowa put on the field this weekend is considered a war crime.

If you have the basic package that only has ESPN/ESPN2 and no SECN or ESPNU or BTN, etc, then you aren't watching college football anyway.

Propaganda, all formal media is now propaganda.

That's dumb. You're probably just watching the games on ESPN/ESPN2, FS1, and the networks because 99.9% of the time those are the most relevant games.

are you implying people weren't complaining about the media coverage of Colorado?

True. Only reason I watched.

Classic case of a shite talker running into someone everyone knows will kick their arse and wanting to be there to witness it.

This weekend will be no different.

Did the Colorado Oregon game gain numbers due to carryover from the OT game of FSU- Clemson?

Outside of the top few it is amazing those numbers support the money networks have thrown at conferences.

Because you need to buy the whole conference to get the games of the top few

Hence why they’re in conferences

Or you could ask whether Colorado-Oregon early bird viewers ended up inflating the rating for FSU and Clemson

The Iowa game would've been higher if Penn State wouldn't have put it out of reach with that first quarter field goal.

USC will win by 4+ touchdowns on Saturday. The question is, is how long will the sports media continue to be a lapdog when the losses start pilling up? Deion has definitely made a difference but all I see is the media building someone up, just to tear them down.

They keep replaying the quote about how people better take advantage now, cause it's not going to be that way in the future.

What is his plan for building the team? I saw he is not in the top 50 in recruiting. I know it's still early, but most of the 4 and 5 stars are committed early. I don't see them in play for many of the others.

He did have the best transfer class last year (LINK So, I guess he can try and do something similar this offseason. I would think the downside is how lots of those players are only 1- or 2-year guys.

I just looked at the depth chart and Colorado is going to lose a ton, especially on the lines. 3 OL starters and the top 4 DL. I know that will be the priority. But I don't know if I'd want to go there as an OL. They all got thrown under the bus. I'm sure they will able to get a few though. It looks like a pretty difficult rebuild and not a reload like many (media) are saying..
