WHAT?!

I'm not saying he didn't make the right decision going to school. But tonight will have literally zero impact on how much money he makes in a couple years in the draft.

OSU’s coach was warming up Heimlich to come in and close and he’s started like 5 games in the last two weeks. He started two days ago.

And his stuff was on. Really no point not to continue pitching

Assuming he’s not a big name pitching prospect

I think everyone should be ok with abusing Heimlich’s arm.
It’s also possible that he never plays another meaningful game in his life

And pitchers throw 20-30 pitches between starts. Sometimes every day. He didn't really do any extra work at 21 pitches the day before.

It’s the CWS with a title on the line of corse it’s worth it. If he were doing it against Cal and a midweek game against Boise St in April that’s one thing but some of you need to man up

Unethical? Or worth it for the title?

It all depends on which perspective sees it as being ethical. But you make a solid point. I personally think that it’s unethical for him, but Im just a measly outsider.

When evaluating him as a major league prospect in 2 years, this game won't really factor in much.

Now he might have thrown this game like he did BECAUSE he's a bonafide prospect, but this single game won't matter.

"A lot on the line" is relative. MLB teams and organizations (who have much more on the line day in and day out when it comes to the health of their pitchers) don't allow anywhere near this amount of usage. Why do you think that is?

Worth it. He has a Maddox type delivery and his pitching style looks very smooth and easy. If anyone could do it He could. Plus, he was willing and ABEL! Lol

You know why softball pitchers can pitch everyday? Because the way they throw is your arms natural motion. The way baseball pitchers throw goes against the grain. That's why you get arm injuries. If you don't believe me, look it up.

He threw far more than 21 warming up.

We're talking about a team that has Heimlich on the roster.

You are talking about a school and coach that allowed a pedophile on the team.
