As you can see from the first sentence, I changed the topic.

And I am not wrong about Willingham.

Coker? Know he was trending down but there's no way Miami is as bad as they have gotten if he stayed

I think Dooley could have been pretty successful at Tennessee. Maybe not national title successful, but maybe capital one bowl with the occasional cotton bowl or sugar bowl successful.

Fair enough, I guess.

If LSU actually thinks they have improved by firing Les and hiring Coach O than LSU is a lot stupider than I thought they were

Just look at Les at Oklahoma State compared to Coach O's previous places.

Absolutely not. In fact a good case could have been made that he should have been gone after his second year. I am not sure what the situation was like at Arkansas when Petrino left, but there is this misconception perpetuated by ESPN at the time that UL was in need of a rebuild. Their 2007 team was loaded and was primed for another run at a Big East title and BCS bowl.

There is this idea that he had to "clean up a mess", but he returned something like 19 or 20 starters, including basically every star player except Michael Bush, off a 12 - 1 Orange Bowl winner that was a blocked field goal away from playing in the national title game.

Again, coming off a 12 - 1 Orange Bowl winning team returning almost all of its starters, he proceeded to go 6 - 6 (3 - 4), 5 - 7 (1 - 6), and 4 - 8 (1 - 6) in a bad Big East, and he gave Greg Robinson two of his three Big East victories, including one in which Louisville was a 37 point favorite.

Are you high? Derek Dooley was the worst coaching hire in SEC football history

Anyone who said Les was fired too early can have him as their head coach. I an grateful that I do not have to sit through that offense (and it was HIS) ever again. Even if we crash and burn I appreciate the effort.

I'll add another fat guy that the program has yet to recover from firing.

I also thought Paul Rhoades was going to get ISU back on track, but that's yet to play out.
