But I thought he would be happy to sacrifice football for the cause? He must not have been genuine when he said he’d sacrifice his career. He thought it would all smooth over and he’d play again? Lol

Funny. If I make statements employers don't like they won't hire me either. But I guess I can get on Facebook and call it being denied work.

Hasn’t he declined a few contracts?

I think his deal with a Baltimore was about done iirc then Kaesong broke it off because he wanted starter money or something.

Actually, it was because his girlfriend posted a tweet that implied some bad things about Bisciotti and Ray Lewis.

Ray Lewis: Ravens refused to sign Colin Kaepernick because of girlfriend's tweet
quote:

Ray Lewis: "When me and Steve Bisciotti were talking, this is what we were talking about, Judy. We were talking about giving this kid an opportunity to get back in the National Football League. Look, this is what I wanted to share with people. I have been fighting for this kid behind the table like nobody has ... I've never been against Colin Kaepernick. But I am against the way he's done it.

"Then, his girl [Colin Kaepernick's girlfriend] goes out and put out this racist gesture and doesn't know we are in the back office about to try to get this guy signed. Steve Bisciotti has said it himself, 'How can you crucify Ray Lewis when Ray Lewis is the one calling for Colin Kaepernick?' ...

"When they (Ravens) called me, it was to say, 'Yes or no?' ... We were going to close the deal to sign him ... Steve Bisciotti said, 'I want to hear Colin Kaeperkick speak to let me know that he wants to play football.' ... And it never happens because that picture comes up the next day. "

Here is the tweet:

I still can't fathom a reason why she posted that picture. It's just a shot at the owner and one of the franchise's faces at a time when the Ravens were discussing whether to sign Kaepernick (who would have been the starter since Flacco was injured).

bullshite. If he really wanted to play ball that badly he would have joined the AAF, CFL, or taken an NFL team's offer to try and at least be a back up.

He’d be pretty much the worst starter in the league if he came back

This never gets said enough during virtue signaling Kaepernick debates. He has a career average of 177 yards passing per game. That is frickING terrible

This isn't hard. Kaepernick was trash without Harbaugh coaching.

Tim Tebow.

Tebow wasn't blackballed. He just wasn't good enough for teams to put up with the media circus that came with him. Same applies to Kaepernick.

The difference is that Tebow wasn't trying to be a media whore.

I had a weird dream where was a guy who hated Kaepernick but who wasn’t obese and impotent.

I think he's done well for himself despite not being in the NFL.

I'm pro-Kap but acting like hes been suffering is just obnoxious.

Can’t make this shite up.

And for the 13058382th time. No one needs the press headache for the mediocre QB that he is.

Didn’t the Ravens offer and his girlfriend said something about the owner so it didn’t happen?
