NE playoff game when Brady and the Pats MURDERED San Diego. It was very last second spur of the moment trip(like day before) and the only pair of shoes I brought were boat shoes. I think it got to 13 degrees. The locals had a field day with my stupidity.
2nd coldest was last year’s wild Minn vs Buffalo game.

The night of the 1995 Indy Bowl (LSU 45 Mich St 24) temperatures were in the 40's, but the wind was blowing like crazy. The wind was blowing directly into our faces in the end zone. Box score on the LSU site says it was 46 when they started at 4;34 PM.
The next coldest was the 2000 Peach Bowl (LSU 28 GaTech 14). Yes the game was inside, but we walked to, and from, the game. We stayed at the Holiday Inn near the Hard Rock. That was a cold walk. We were going to eat somewhere nice, but went straight to the hotel and ordered pizza.

Coldest game you’ve attended?
Made a C on my report card in 7th grade so my father said I could not attend any school events that were fun in nature until I had all as and bs. Well I missed the bus on purpose to attend a basketball game. It had been snowing all day and was probably in the teens (Kansas City).
When I phoned home about missing the bus I tried to ask to just stay for the game since I accidentally missed the bus. It was a firm no and I was instructed to walk home, 2 - 3 miles.
As I'm walking i see a car approaching and it's my dad in a 1992 blue astro van rolling down the window from the opposite side (non electronic). Just wanted to make sure I had started my walk . I saw the tipoff

High school football game in Oberlin, La. Cold, rain and lots of mud. I remember sticking my hands in my pants on the sidelines trying to stay warm.

Dallas Cowboys at Seattle Seahawks at Huskies Stadium.
Horse show stadium with the opening facing the lake. I had so many layers including snowboard pants and was still shivering.

LSU vs Troy. If I recall correctly, we came back from down 21 to win. But had to be one of the top 5 coldest nights of my life.

quote:Didn't know we were counting those. In 1977 we played a game at Montgomery, LA where it sleeted thru-out the game. Going out for the second half was the coldest I've ever been. Back then, a 2A school, playing at a 1A school, didn't have extra uniforms or shoes, or even a way to dry anything. We got warm in the locker room at halftime, then walked back out into that mess soaking wet.
Played in a high school game that kicked off at 14 degrees. Wind chill was below 0.

Either the 2009/2010 Capital One Bowl or the 2022 game against a rent-win that was crazy cold. I don’t even remember the opponent.
