I don’t know about you, but if I can watch a high quality NFL game at 70 degrees in December in Cleveland, I’m going to be a pretty happy guy.

I wonder if Vegas hates the weather affecting their accuracy of handicapping, and given their relationship with NFL if they put pressure on them to demand new stadiums have domes.

The ideal situation was building a new lakefront domed stadium where Burke Lakefront Airport currently sits.

Isn’t Burke built over an old landfill or something like that where the ground is either sinking gradually or not able to handle the weight of a stadium?

Or maybe these people investing in billion dollar real estate projects want constant revenue all year long and sites like those have largely turned into climate controlled, roofed, sites

What is going on - Cleveland playing indoors woof

Old Browns stadium was worse. Wind would get stuck in stadium I swear.

I hate it. I went to the Browns/Jags game this past late December. Their current stadium is better than a lot of NFL stadiums I’ve been to. Plus the Lake affect, why would Cleveland shy away from their great home field advantage? I don’t get it.

Their current stadium fits Cleveland and the blue collar workers. This new one pretty much ruins what Browns fans stand for.

Looks bland and I don't like that almost all stadiums will be indoorish within 20 years just so they can host super bowls and also satisfy this generation of soft men.

That's not a dome, just a roof.

That's bad arse. Way better looking than most of the fancy stadiums these days

Outdoors is always the way to go though

semi flat, glass paned roof in part of the country that routine sees snow accumulation in the winter?

i dunno about this one... seems like a future Metrodome 2.0 situation

Will probably have electric warmers to melt the snow before it can accumulate.

Not sure but I know the issue with closing Burke has been longstanding FAA requirements about having suitable reliever airports for airports with air carriers (Hopkins).

I know another site in the city that has been talked about us where the USPS facility is just east of Progressive Field.

Looks pretty damn ugly and will be likely pretty dated looking quickly with trends.
