Upsets are one of the elements that make the tourney fun to watch, but when it's all said and done, I still want to see the best against the best

I agree in the sense that it's cute for the first weekend, but I kind of want to see heavyweights the second/third weekend. But, as long as cinderella doesn't shite the bed when they advance, I guess it's OK.

The best college basketball teams are still shitty anyways.

And I want to see ANYBODY but Duke, UNC, Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA, etc. in the Final Four.
The happy medium is somewhere in between you and me.

So you’re in favor of the eye test

It should be more like FBS: The Final Four are the three best teams and Alabama.

Uh, it was awesome when George Mason made it.

And VCU from the play in game. That was a fun year

I understand the sentiment, as three of my most memorable final fours ever were pretty much A-list participants only.
1975: UCLA vs Kentucky, I mean It doesn't get any bigger than that for a championship matchup, unless Butler vs UCONN is more to your liking. the other two participants ( Syracuse and Louisville) were no slouch programs either.
1982: Sure the two semis were snoozers but the list of players participating read like a list of future NBA All-star teams: Patrick Ewing, Eric Floyd, Michael Jordan, Sam Perkins, James Worthy, Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler Rodney McCray, and the championship game winning shot made by Jordan, the genesis of his legend.
2008: All No.1 seeds advanced: Kansas, Memphis, UCLA and UNC, a true Final Four culminating in a last seconds shot by Mario Chalmers of Kansas to defeat Memphis.

Chalmers' shot only tied the game and sent it to OT IIRC. Memphis could've iced it but they shot like shite from the line down the stretch.
Tons of Cal's 2000s squads were terrible with FTs despite almost always having elite talent.

the beauty of the NCAA tournament is it's fair. Win four games on neutral courts and you're in the Final Four whether you're Duke, Kansas, UMBC, or Sister Jean...

I want a finals with 11 vs 9

I was just listening to Clay Travis say the same thing on Fox Sports Radio. I enjoyed when Butler made it back to back. Watching the same old teams make it year after year isn't as interesting to me. Same with VCU, Wichita St., and Gonzaga. Let's see some new blood do some damage.

Last year's Final Four was a great mix of traditional powers and new guys and high and middle seeds (UNC, Gonzaga, Oregon, South Carolina).

I don't care for the Cinderellas because they always get smashed when they get to the elite eight or final four. If rather see competitive games.
