By rule that was a late hit, but it wasn’t egregious.

Let's ask the Cincinnati staffer/trainer/whatever he was that got completely wiped out if it was egregious or not. They call those penalties not just because a player can get injured but because anyone involved with the game on the sideline can get hurt too.

Completely agree! That roughing call was weak! Im surprised so many people on this board think that was the right call.

Everyone knows technically you can throw a flag on that late hit. It’s just dumb to basically have an entire season determined on a light shove that had no impact on the play.

Kinda like the Arkansas kid throwing punches at the ball after the whistle blew in the Eagles game. Made absolutely no sense.

There were at least 2 roughings they could have called committed on Burrow on the Bengals final drive.

A small person without pads versus Massive human beings with pads would be knocked over by them if they walked into him/her.

Eli Apple deserved at least 3 taunting penalties based on the one called.

What did you think about the call in Q2 when Burrow had too much weight fall on him?

Does he think they called roughing the passer? Hopefully he understands the difference

The game was lost when the Bengals O Line didn’t show up for the kickoff

No there wasn’t
The one near the endzone was a no brainer. The one a few plays later on the intentional grounding was more iffy, but he clearly had given up on the play and the defender did the full weight roll over on him thing with no attempt at all to lessen the impact. I've seen many called this season that were worse than those two.

well all roughing the QB's after they have thrown the ball or are running out of bounds dont affect the play you big DA. Mahomes was not hurt but what if he blew a knee out due to the way he landed. The Cinci guy hurt his knee on that play. They have those fouls in the game for a reason. Whether it happens on the first play or the last play.
