These are just kids sacrificing their bodies to try and get an education. Take it easy on them

So you are ok with players acting like animals after plays and after the games?

Thought that Indy Bowl was going to get chippy at the end. Would have been a bad idea as those Army boys could have wrecked some shite. Then post game saw a 3 star general and a few one stars on the field. Would have been a really bad idea to mess with those guys.

The chippy crap has gotten out of hand. Need to put the hammer down on that stuff.

Are you kidding me? Fights happening on the football field has always happened. This isn't some recent phenomenon.

Modern day gladiators. They are our entertainment. If they are getting paid, want risk injury, and losing money over it, while I get to watch for free, it is fine with me. They are adults. If it is cheap then press charges. If participants are willing then I say go for it. Heated rivalries are good for sports. A good mound charging in baseball, enforcers fighting it out on the rink, or a good boxing match is always fun to watch. Why should I pretend to be offended when it is on the football field? They are not bringing it into the stands yet, so I really don’t care.

Please don’t ever watch a hockey game because I’m worried you may have a medical emergency

Not at the pace and magnitude of seeing pepper spray and bloodied refs. "Are you kidding me?"

Those hockey players are now brawling over a stolen towel weirdo.

No, they couldn't have. It would have looked like every other mele involving college football players.

Idolizing the physical and fighting prowess of 50 and 60-year-old Army generals is a strange look, but you do you.

Why would anyone downvote?

CFB is getting incredibly trashy. Fights and showboating/taunting when a team is down 3 scores, doesnt matter, that team's DBs will taunt and celebrate an incomplete pass like they are going to win the Super Bowl.

Exactly, when bad behavior is tolerated or as in some cases - excused, such behavior will persist and even proliferate. Schools/coaches have to enforce consequences immediately. Now if it's some kids last game ever and he's leaving anyway, not much you can do in that case....If he's the kind of kid that acts out because he knows he can't be punished at that point, kids a bad seed anyway - not much hope for him.

Everyone complains that the NBA is too buddy buddy and long for the old heated rivalries and in college football rivalries there is exactly what you miss about basketball and yet still complaints.

Are ECU and NC State old rivals? Either way, it has nothing to do with school pride and everything to do with "being disrespected" or just being poor sports.
