This in regard to the street racing on a Dallas highway in the 2024 offseason that caused a multi car pile up. With this ruling and trial complete, the NFL may now dish out their punishment. Wonder how many games he will be suspended?

he plays for the Chiefs and Mahomes needs him.

Probably 1st half of a Preseason game.

five years probation and 30 days of jail time that can be served during those five years

Must be nice….

It’s probably not even a consecutive 30 days.

Whatever they can configure to avoid him sitting out divisional games.

I'll guess he gets suspended 4 games but if its more then so be it. He's lucky he didn't kill or seriously injure anyone.

I would be in PRISON for five year if I did that, but then again, I do not play a kids' game, so I don't get away with felonies. Case will be dismissed if he completes probation. What a joke. Too bad I did not win the genetic lottery, so I cannot get away with murder like some of these cats do.

Bull crap. This fluffy shite for athletes is stupid. So HE gets to choose when he wants to go to jail… soft soft soft.

There was also an incident while at SMU that got covered up. He suspected a basketball player was messing around with his girlfriend.

While that other guy was playing in a game, Rice grabbed a gun, headed to the arena, found the guy’s parked car, and fired several rounds into it.

NFL teams and the league office knew about the incident prior to his draft. He has a clear pattern of outlaw behavior.

He didn't wait until he was a proven NFL star receiver before doing this stuff

Bad news

Two tier justice system.

Gets away with a minimal sentence because he plays sports ball.

Michael Irvin once stabbed a teammate olineman in the neck and the cowboys hid that. Different time same results

I saw the aftermath & backed up traffic while going across 75 late that afternoon & didn’t find out it was the accident Rice was in until the news the next day. Traffic was at a standstill for miles. 75 in Dallas is a horrible place to pull this stunt

If Taylor Swift is still attending games, likely no suspension and a small fine.

I can see another team's WR1 getting suspended instead, similar to how the NCAA punishes their favored teams.
