Meh I know the school board didn’t like that… we’ve had a tough week with fights and guns on campus

Jason Tucker is now 2-14 against Holy Cross

Can you chalk that all up to halftime adjustments or lack there of?

Imagine how bad we would have lost if half the kids were at a 2nd high school

If that was the case we’d be playing each other and not Holy Cross

We’re trying to keep alive the idea of a rivalry that’s long gone… we might as well rotate through the entire Catholic League for our week 3 lol

WM voted to not play Catholic and Curtis without a plan to play someone else? Not very smart.

Not quite sure what HC has this season. Played a team in San Antonio to start season and won convincingly. Followed by a L to De La Salle and then the explosive 2nd half against the Owls. They have 2 Div 1 calibr wrs, but not sure what else. Their coach is safe there for as long as he wants to be (alum and family are huge contribs), but they got rid of a guy who got them in the playoiffs, so at some point you have to produce.

They would probably win 5, 6, and 8-5A… they just have the bad luck to be stuck in their district where 6 of the best teams in the state play. There’s not a clear win for them.

Yep. They have had enrollment issues and budget cuts, too. There was some concern about long term viability, but it appears they may have righted the ship for now. At some point they may have to re-address the possibility of going co-ed. They lost some very good teachers the last several years because they simply could no longer afford to work there. They didn't get out of the profession; they moved to different Catholic schools.
