Doesn't Alabama have a tougher SOS than Wisconsin?

I’d really like to hear why Cincinnati is ranked ahead of App State.

The committee very clearly doesn't value Minnesota.

Does anybody have any idea what the committee's objective is? I thought it was to rank the "best" teams but the chairman just said the difference between one, two, and three is their quality wins. The most deserving team and the best team are completely different things. Why do they keep using them interchangeably? Even with Mac Jones as their qb Bama is obviously much better than the 12th best team in the country. So what do the rankings mean?

LSU will play tOSU in the title game, one way or the other.

The committee definitely wants this final so they can pump the Joey B against his old team narrative the 1st 2 weeks of January. Maybe the committee thinks LSU has a better chance to knock off Clemson?

LSU is by far the best team in the country.
The players don’t care who’s ranked where and they’re ready to whoop whoever they face.
No one on that board stands a chance against the Tigers this year.

Michigan loses by 30, drops 1 spot.

LSU wins by 30, drops 1 spot.

They're still in the rankings. Who else besides Auburn has Florida beaten in these rankings?

The biggest head scratcher is Michigan only falling one spot. That I'll give you.

LSU and tOSU both beat Clemson by one score minimum, IMO.

Their team last year was GOOOOOD. This isn't last year's team. I just can't see a scenario where they come out and shellack a team liks tOSU or LSU after playing below average teams all year.

I'm obviously biased as an LSU. We feel we always have a chance, and now that we have an incredibly potent offense, there's no reason we should doubt ourselves.

Yea I agree with you boat. Unless Oklahoma comes out and shite stomps baylor

Anyone remember TCU winning a share of the Big XII title in 2014 on the last weekend, only to fall in the rankings?

You can't trust these idiots to do anything logical at this point. Teams who aren't even playing this weekend will magically move up in the rankings. They've done it every year. It's maddening.

So people wanna whine that Bama is ranked so high when they have no top 25 wins. But now it's a travesty that a team with the same record with 3 wins against ranked teams is ahead of them?

I struggle with this. While your point is legit, Alabama lost to the only two decent teams on their schedule, albeit by a combined 6 points (?).

I guess the committee is looking at the former from my previous sentence.

I honestly think Bama could very easily beat the 4-11 teams.

Then why was Bama at 5 prior to this ranking? Either way this committee is showing they are horrible at ranking teams.

Your post would be more digestible if this criteria was as consistently applied as you are pretending it is. It changes every week.
