Now that the ACC is out I'm sure they are going to remove the top 5 too since we can't allow G6 schools a chance

Yep. I mean I know you can enforce a penalty on the kickoff, but that's technically before the change of possession. This is like kicking a touchback and the other team starting from then 12. (1/2 the distance)

The whole system was designed when the Big XII was an actual conference and the Pac 10 was around.
This whole thing would have worked fantastically if UT/OU/A&M were still in the Big XII and the Pac 10 was an actual conference.
But we now have these two super conferences and are stuck with dumb shite like a 2 loss non power 5 team being and and a Bama team that has no business being there.

Ole Miss beat Tulane 45-10 in Oxford earlier this year. Those 2 first round games are gonna be over by halftime.
