Up next, someone is going to file a lawsuit against the NCAA to challenge academic eligibility requirements. They came here to play football, not to play school

Do this and give them one free transfer. After that you sit a year. Problems solved.

This is getting stupid. I hated that guys like Travis Daniels got punished for having to come in for one or tie games to bail out their team and burn their redshirt, but they have no added basically 4 games plus the bowl game that they can play and players can still petition for a medical redshirt if injury occurs.
They need to stop this mess with these older players that aren’t good enough for the NFL trying to ride on NIL.
Give them fiver years of eligibility, sure, but they have to graduate in 4 years to get the 5th year. That is fair. Failure to graduate in the four years loses the last year of eligibility.

Yep.
And if they win, I hope every school scraps their athletic program (other than intramurals).

Yep. Almost seems too easy to solve.
I mentioned this in a thread the other day. 5 years to get your shite done and that is it. If you get hurt, that sucks but life sucks sometimes.
This would put an end to the Max Johnsons and TJ Finleys of the world who continue to game the system and chase whatever it is that they are chasing until they are damned near 30 years old.

I like it...and essentially gives you an injury year.
But you know that there will be people who get injured 2 games into year 5 who will ask for more.

Why not just make it indefinite at this point. They’re professionals already

It is really fair for 18 year olds to have to play against guys in their mid-twenties? It can already be difficult enough for them to compete against 21 year olds.

so that means pavia gets one more year

Well those dudes can just go form their own minor league.
Hell....it ain't like the very top D1 football and basketball aren't being provided "super extra resources" by the universities anyway. They'll just get someone else to take their Math 91 exam for them.

Ok at some point colleges are just going to have to form. Professional leagues weather break away deal or what ever. If I was a conference I’d look into forming a super league or something. He’ll tell ESPN we want to make week days
