Atleast UH isn't up in here being a big fgt yet.

I really, really don't understand the braves' moves. I guess it had something to do with money?
Heyward was 17th in baseball in WAR in a season where he was bad at the plate. He has so much upside at the plate, he's still young... and yet his downside is last season. A year where he was 17th in WAR. Cards got him CHEAP.

God you are a fricktard. The fact you are also a Gump is just perfect.
Two things for you to be mad about. Bama owns those kittens and now Freeman boots Heyward out of Atlanta. This is a great day.

Who is going to replace Heyward in RF that you think is going to be so awesome?
Posted on 11/17/14 at 2:14 pm to crimsonian
How do you feel about BMac's 2.89 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, & 82K in 90 innings in a Yankee uni?

Don't engage him. I honestly thought he was a stupid troll but he's dead serious.
Dumbest ATL poster there is. And that's saying something.

Y'all all make me want to be a Braves poster, not a braves fan, a Braves poster. It looks fun

But it's become fairly clear that he's not going to develop into that 1-2 front of the rotation pitcher
Posted on 11/17/14 at 3:23 pm to Lester Earl
And he started putting things together at the end of last year. As a Cards fan i understand the trade, but i certainly would have like to hold onto Miller. This thread could be the exact opposite though and Braves fans would bitch. It really doesnt matter.

I love how he's getting written off.
Who is "writing him off"? Being a solid middle of rotation guy is nothing to sneeze at and with Jenkins included it could be a good trade down the road for the Braves, I dont know.
Saying he isnt going to be an ace type isn't writing him off. He has knocks, cant learn to throw breaking/curve consistently. Velocity varies to much. Hard to coach. Can that stuff improve? Sure. Will it? Dont know and neither do you. I trust the Cardinals talent evaluation at this point in time.

Saying it's fairly certain thst he'll never be a 1-2 is writing him off from ever been a 1-2. Unless I'm reading that wrong.
A 25 year old with a 95mph fastball is hardly a finished product.

I said it on like page three but I still don't understand why the Braves fans are melting so hard over this. Miller is at worst a solid mid rotation guy (with control until 2019) and Jenkins has a lot of potential. Much better than the comp pick they would have gotten when Heyward walked

I think I'm the only Braves fan okay with this deal...I fully expected and prepared myself for the rebuild. Wren REALLY fricked us over, especially in the minors. This is Chapter 7 liquidation so that we can be back in a few years, rather than hold these guys and end up jumping off a bridge in 2 years due to depression.
I don't know why anyone is shitting on Miller. He is so young, he has all the abilities to still become a number 1 starter with the right coaching. I LOVE Jenkins...he got injured last year but everything I've read is he has been a AFL monster and has a really bright future.

Just wait until Justin Upton is dealt.

Doesn't dealing Heyward give Braves flexibility to resign Upton? They weren't going to resign both.

I wish I could feel sad about a power hitting right fielder hitting 250 with 10 Hrs getting traded.

I guess as an Astros fan I have a different perspective, but this is the way you want to go. This is not a bad deal. And I agree with Lester that Miller could become much more than he is now. And if he doesn't there's only a handful of guys in the majors right who have put up numbers like his in their first two years worth of starts
