Yeah, the Cards guys are funny as hell in that they are trying to legitametly claim they didn't trade rape the Braves.
All while laughing uncontrollably behind closed doors.
Oh well, we suck again!

That you are melting. Your lover is gone. WAR WAR WAR. Stats are for fools.

I remember how they felt except I admitted that we trade raped the Dbacks. I never tried to spin it.

Some of the same people that are okay with this deal were melting because we lost Prado that day.
Unbelievable, really.

I think its a bad trade for the Braves. Miller isnt the front end of the rotation guy we though he was when drafted. he is a 3-4 in the rotation type guy. No telling about Jenkins, he has some upside though.
Im not trying to rub it in but I think the Cards got over big time on the Braves

A lot of us Braves fans feel this way too.

This team was much better with our contact slap hitters. I hope JUpton is next.

You like it because trades like this work for the Cardinals. If it was the Braves, you just gave away Miller. Heyward wouldn't resign. You won't like this trade if Heyward is playing for the Red Sox after this year.

I would be fine with that, as long as the return is a stud young pitcher and a decent hitting prospect or something like that and not, well, Shelby Miller.

If he's the bat that finally gets us to the promised land, it won't hurt a bit.
Either way, we'll get a first round pick if he walks, makes the sting hurt a bit less.

He is better than Heyward. He would bring more. It will be minor leaguers though.

I have a pretty shitty memory, but I don't remember anybody at all melting over losing Prado. If anyone was going to melt, it would have been me. And I certainly did not.

God you are a fricktard.
The fact you are also a Gump is just perfect.

He is a good 6th or 7th place hitter. Don't expect more than that.

Our front office has always looked ahead with deals like this. If they didn't think they were going to sign him they wouldn't make the trade.
I was a HUGE Miller fan and proponent but its become fairly clear he isnt going to develop into that 1-2 front of rotation type of pitcher and with the young arms we have coming down the pipe this was a great trade.
Now Jenkins has some serious upside but only time will tell, that may be the bigger player for Atlanta when its all said and done.
