This is the state of the media today. Never before have we had so many "media" outlets. And they are ALL in a life or death fight for clicks, views, ratings, etc. They have all found that simply just covering sports is not enough. They have to write "topic" pieces...no matter how ridiculous or irrational...to get those clicks and try to avoid getting lost in the endless see of "news sites"

One of the greatest trolls ever.

Ask Martha Burk how well going after the Lords of Augusta National went for her cause...

I thought this was a joke until I saw that it was a Rob "is he a brother or a cornball brother?" Parker article.

The author of that post is Rob Parker.

Most famous for losing his ESPN gig after calling RG3 a cornball brother.

This makes me wish Hootie Johnson was still alive. He told Martha Burk and the feminists to get fricked.

be honest. When you hear anyone say the Masters, you think of slave masters in the South. There’s nothing else, nothing special. You don’t think of someone mastering the game of golf. When has anyone mastered golf?

Honestly, that’s all I’ve ever thought of... that it was masters of slaves never crossed my mind. Maybe that’s a blind spot for me but it’s very much the truth, and I tend to be pretty understanding of these. I guess in the original naming it could’ve had intentional undertones... but his quote is pretty over the top.

I don't think people at Augusta National are too worried about what Soy boys and black people think. Not really their constituency.

Remember way back when Martha Burke staged a protest outside the gates at Augusta and threatened all the sponsors because Augusta does not allow women. Hootie Johnson and the board just decided to pay for the broadcast themselves without sponsors. I think they'll be just fine here.

And the ratings probably increased without commercials.

Augusta doesn’t care.

When the feminist came after them and forced so does to pull from
The tournament, August just said frick off to everyone and ran the tournament with no commercials and no ads coverage. They put it on themselves. It was the best coverage they have ever done.

They’ll give the finger to this too

The Augusta members proved a decade ago with the feminst protest that they could give a flying f*** about public opinion. Most of the men that are members are super rich retired guys. They can tell the world to f*** off and have zero consequences.

This is the same idiot who argues that Montana’s 4-0 super bowl record is better than Brady going 5-3 because Montana is undefeated.
