I think NYC was fricked as soon as the Knicks won the ECF. Win or lose something is getting burned.

I do not envy Mamdani for having to deal with the fallout from a Knicks title win

Burning to the ground from an NBA Title > Burning to the ground from the Red/Green Alliance

Gonna happen either way.

A Knicks championship sounds like a great time to be a New Yorker. Might have to go into the city next week.

He’ll deny that there was riots and looting. He’ll say it was just the city celebrating.

Crime across the city is down, murder rate has dropped by 20% since Mamdani took office, but you do you.

If people got half as excited about breaking a bench press or mile PR as they do the accomplishments of athletes who don’t even know their fricking name, maybe we wouldn’t have so many fatasses in this country.

I will never understand it.
