I think their 2nd game will be easier than their first, regardless of whom they play

Ohio State
This only happens if Day coaches like he did 2-years ago vs Georgia.

Whoever comes out of the Oregon side of the bracket, which I think will be Oregon.
They will probably play Clemson or Texas in the semis which I actually see as a pretty favorable draw for any of those teams. Texas hasn't beaten a ranked team this year. Clemson is the beneficiary of an easy schedule and is probably a top 15-20 type team (if that) rather than a top 12.
I don't see Tennessee beating Ohio St and Oregon on the road, but that would be incredible.

He doesn’t have a CJ Stroud to call plays, and hence coach, like he did against UGA 2 years ago.

I know, I think they just have the easier path to the title, and I think they have a shot to beat Oregon if they rematch.

Since Georgia is going to win it.
Alabama and Ole Miss share the title.

Oregon finally gets them one.

I definitely can see the Ohio State/Tennessee winner beating Oregon.
I think whoever wins that quarterfinal game is winning it all.

I think Ohio St can beat Oregon. They showed already they can play with them.
I just don't trust this Tennessee offense to produce on the road twice against tough defenses. They haven't done well on the road all year and I don't see that magically changing.

it definitely won't be texas, oregon, or UGA.
i'm thinking ohio st as much as it pains me to type

What is it with all of these Ohio St. predictions?
Have you guys not followed Ryan Day's career and his record in big games?

They barely lost in AUTZEN....where Oregon is like 100-1 the last 10 years.
Plus we all know how rematches work out.
OSU is just mentally ill against Michigan. That school up North is in their head and owns them....against every other team, Ohio State is fine.....Rose Bowl against Oregon? Give me Ohio State after they demolish Tennessee.

I really have no idea bc Oregon got a crappy draw.
I agree that this is ND’s best shot since the Holtz’s days. No super dominant team that just towers over the field like in past years.
That said I’m pulling for somebody the little guys.

If Penn State can generate over 500 yards and 37 points against Oregon, Tennessee can do it too.
Oregon will be a tough out no doubt. But they aren’t some untouchable juggernaut.

Would the Rose really be a road game?
It is a huge stadium and a bowl configuration. Even if Oregon had 50,000 fans there, it's still not some massive homefield advantage.
And if Tennessee beats OSU in Columbus, I have to imagine your fans will be pretty amped for a quarterfinal game; every UT fan on the West Coast is going to want to make that.

Not butthurt, just stating facts.
The next big game that Day wins will be his first.
