SWAC President's Council has a meeting this afternoon where that conference could make a decision about fall sports

If the SWAC cancelled games in the fall, tens of Grambling fans might be upset.

how will this affect signing day/recruiting? they will have to do something

otherwise, yeah, any kid that is borderline on getting offers will have to transfer somewhere

Gavin Newsom will never allow that.

So they’re going to play spring football and then turn around and play fall football? They sure care about those kids

Unfortunately the best opportunity for most players to play this season as Cali has pretty much shutdown any chance of starting school on any reasonable timeframe. Sucks for the player that is fighting to get a scholarship and the late bloomers that are going to miss a chance to showcase talents in the fall. The top tier athletes will probably commit earlier and sign with the early signing period, then sit out the spring season

#1 CB in the nation from Virginia committed a couple weeks ago to North Carolina and is enrolling early because of possibly no football in Virginia this year.

So how the hell is recruiting happening? Are they just ignoring kids senior years this class?

I don’t think too many California HS kids will lose much sleep over not playing fall football. Now in Texas or the former confederate states, it would be an abomination but California won’t be upset big deal.
