they are objectively bad percentages for 3pt shooting
for the NBA, yes. don't have to look that up.
but for all I know that could be the best ever in WNBA, which is the point I was making.

Nobody is calling "Bayou Queen" generational. She's having a terrible year on a terrible team.

You Cait Queens have reached cult status.

to be fair, she does take a lot of tough shots, 4-5 feet past the 3pt line(top of key), etc. moving 3pt'ers,etc

I would call many of her shots, bad choices, but does seem to hit a good chunk of them. at iowa, she had to take those shots

I said last night that I regret not buying the 22 Fever tshirt that I laughed at in Dicks. My wife asked why I would ever wear one, and I said just to frick with people and get some laughs when I’m in Lowe’s or the grocery store.

Clark career .52 eFG%
Reese career .39 eFG%

Clark is not a generational shooter even for womens basketball standards. Comparing her to curry is dumb as shite

End of story

She is more of a Westbrook or Luka comp. Exciting player that takes a lot of shots

For perspective, curry has a .58 career eFG%

That is generational for a shooter

She’s a generational playmaker. I don’t think anyone ever argued her being an elite pure shooter. She does pop from deep deep range better than anyone this mediocre league has before though.

It really is a shame for Clark that she showed up when she did. She’s never going to get to just be who she is. She’s a generational talent in the women’s game, virtually guaranteed to be a huge part of its history, but she still can’t hang with her elite male counterparts. Not her fault, just how it is. It takes nothing away from her game, or shouldn’t, anyway. That’s why they have separate leagues.

But the media has been absolutely insufferable in promoting the women’s game because of her and provoked a lot of reactive backlash from this unwarranted oversaturation. She’s not allowed to just be a really good women’s bball player, she has to be “Curry but female” or whatever when she obviously isn’t talented enough for that.
