For winning by 3 TDs?

Hot takes at halftime always age so well.

I’m so confused by MSB threads the older I get.

Didn’t the Bengals win big?

I don’t understand why half this board rallies around hating on Burrow. Whatever makes them happy I guess.

Also in the middle of the game! Sure this one backfired about as spectacularly as possible but even if it didn’t, it’s really dumb to call someone out in the first half of a game! They may actually get better as the game goes!

Yeah, he's 20/28 for 268 yards and 3 TDs and has had 7 straight road games with 2 or more TDs (and his team is up 15 on the road at Baltimore). What a bum.

To Tampa Ray - Well he ain't no Brad Johnson.

He will win a Super Bowl, with or without Cincinnati.

I guess you talk about no hitters in the third inning as well.

He also has a better running game and defense to lean on. Joe Burrow has always been the better QB.

Because this board says ridiculous insane things in support of burrow so people say stupid things against that

Burrow is a great top QB that the majority of this board overrates still because he went to lsu

Burrow is having his career wasted by Mike Brown and Zac Taylor

The only “fault” burrow has is missing 23 starts in his career already.

But where this board is hypocritical as hell as a whole is he is the only QB forgiven for his teams failures. They haven’t made the playoffs in 4 years. I’m fine saying it’s not a QB issue (besides him not being able to stay on the field at times), but no other QB is given grace on this board by the mouth breathers

ETA: I also think he takes some hate for his offf field stuff too

I'm not sure those stats are right. I think Allen is 8-2. But in any event, of course there is missing context. The average points scored by the opposing offenses in those instances for Burrow is 36+. For Allen it's 31.

I'm not even sure what people are arguing. They are both great. A big part of Allen's greatness, though, appears to be scrambling - and he has the line that enables this to be a large part of his attack. Anyone who has ever watched Burrow knows that he is an exceptionally intelligent and effective scrambler, but there is a limit to what is presented in terms of opportunities for him to do so.

I don't see why anyone wants to run either of these guys down. It's a golden era, but it's super frustrating to see Burrow languish in less-the-ideal circumstances.
