You’re right “historically bad” was hyperbole, but in 6 of their losses they gave up 38, 41, 37, 35, 34, and 44.
They gave up 1 less point than the 3-14 Browns that year.
And the only teams that scored more points in the AFC were the Ravens and the Bills.

Oh bull shite. There’s been a contingent of anti-LSU Burrow bashers on here from day 1 in the NFL. We could dig up threads from their rookie years how Tua and Herbert were better and Burrow was a bust. Even after the Bengals made the Super Bowl in year we had threads about how Tua’s record was better and Herbert was putting up historic stats (at least that was true). Once Tua faltered it was of course Hurts who was deemed better due to team success. GCA and whatever alters he had has been wanting Burrow to fail so bad he claimed the 19 season was due to Brady. It was pathetic. It’s not even worth discussing who of those QBs from the 2020 draft which one every team would take if they needed a QB.

LSU fans are also more cognizant than most of how Burrows’ presence can stabilize and uplift an otherwise moribund organization.
To have the success he’s had with LSU during the O era and with the Bengals with Taylor. Yes he has been blessed with elite receiver talent at both places, but no other QB in the modern game has achieved so much with basically nothing from the head coach.
