Flores' suit includes texts from Bill Belichick that appear to show him congratulating him on getting the Giants job, mistakenly believing he was texting Brian Daboll. This was before Flores' interview with the Giants took place.

This is why I believe the Rooney rule should not be a thing. It's just straight up disrespectful

Blacks are complaining that there aren't enough black head coaches because the labor pool is majority black. Maybe it's time for some diversity at the RB and CB positions.

I like how when BB blows the whistle he implicates the Giants AND Buffalo. How did the Bills get drug into this?

Lol, BB.

Correct.

Goodell will dock the Saints 3 draft picks for this treachery.

Flores has most likely destroyed his coaching career with this lawsuit

Not sure why he is suing, but I also am not sure why the Dolphins fired him.

3 years he went 5-11, 10-6, 9-8. He turned around a crappy season and finished 8-1 the last 9 games. That builds momentum in the offseason. All this with Tuna as QB.

[Balekji] Brian Daboll was interviewed on January 21. Leslie Frazier was the first Black head coach candidate they interviewed on January 22. Current DC Patrick Graham was also interviewed on January 26. So Flores wasn't needed to satisfy Rooney Rule.
this needs to be posted again so people can see how insane Flores really is.

Flores is done. No Power 5 school or NFL team will touch him after this.

Flores seems to be the equal to what Dell Demps was in NO. They both got into it with good people at the opposite positions.

1) Brian Flores just ruined his (before today, pretty damn good) chances of coaching in the NFL and living a cushy existence until early retirement.

2) Those lawyers should be run out of the legal profession. Typos all over the place, quoting MLK and submitting pictures of irrelevant Belichick texts prominently for attention. It reads like an edgy 2L Law Review article and is so so poorly written and overflowing with emotional statements of conclusion supported by little fact or law.

Awful for everyone involved. Flores will be banished to the nether realm where Colin Kaepernick resides. What a fricking retard.

I'm Black and I love being Black. But, Flores was an arse and that's why he got canned. Flores didn't even get along with the Dolphins' GM who is also Black. Bye Flores.
Sounds like Flores refused to tamper with a player and refused to tank at the owners request and was labeled "difficult to work with".

Flores also said the Dolphins told him he would get $100K for every loss he got in 2019 and they were mad when he started winning

Wait, like additional money under the table?

that's what it sounds like

and stephen ross (dolphins owner) encouraged flores to engage in tampering by trying to recruit a QB from a different team (likely deshaun watson). these two tidbits are a lot more potentially devastating than the belicheck texting issue (which is more bad optics than anything)

Goodell will call Gayle and offer a deal.

"Hire Flores and I'll finally stop fricking with you."

Gayle: "You said you'd stop when Sean left!"

Goodell:

Belichick misread a text and thought he was talking to Daboll, who he thought was getting the job. How Bill is involved and how he would know of the Giants plans beforehand is beyond me.

Oh that is absolute gold. Originally, Brian Flores had so much respect for Belicheck, addressing him as coach multiple times. But after Belicheck realizes the frickup.

"Thanks Bill"

I'm just imagining Flores with this face after that email exchange.

Ummm...didn't the Giants interview their black defensive coordinator before they interviewed Flores? Aka, the Rooney Rule was already met before they interviewed Flores.

internal candidates don't count, but they did do an in- person interview with Leslie Frazier
