Well this is completely false, I have the newspaper from when the Cardinals won it in 2011 and they are dogpiling or is that AI?
I typed the wrong years , 82 was more of like a fall but not your traditional dipole but was famous for being considered the first ever mlb dogpile
95 braves had one that kinda happened as well. Was a traditional MLB Jump circle and it went to the ground for a second
That’s using a picture search and Claude.
Regardless, it’s extremely rare in the MLB. It’s a college thing to dogpile.

That’s the 95 braves, which is in my post
I also love how roughly 5/119 World Series ever dogpiling supports it as being common and expected for this board
Somehow that turns into “every mlb dogpiles”

It was a very weird and subdued celebration.
That is just such an awful ballpark and everything about the atmosphere in there feels unlike what baseball is supposed to be.

As the OP I don’t expect dogpiling. I think it’s silly. But a bunch of yahoos on Twitter apparently do, they were blasting the Brewers for acting no different than if they’d beaten Pittsburgh in a weeknight game in July.

My first thought when they won.
I looked up and thought "wheres the dogpile or anything"
It was like they still had another game to win
