Georgia should immediately pull all public funding to any MLB stadium located in place. These companies love to virtue signal until it costs them real hard cash, and the owner of the Braves will shite a brick once he's forced to actually pay for the expenses of his own company.

Thank you, someone gets it.

so like, whats going to happen here. the whole reason this was in atlanta this year and not LA was because atlanta had already been getting ready and had everything in place. how they just gonna do this properly in a couple months?

I don't care either way on this law. I have just seen how the court system has worked over the last decade or so on these types of cases.
Roberts will probably side with the left again.
Actually, not true, I think an ID should be provided by the voter, but I just don't see this sticking around with today's environment.

Nothing will change until we go scorched earth on these takers
Until we can get a national divorce, the only way to avoid shite like this is to make it hurt for pussy corporations and leagues to target the 50% of the country that generally doesn't burn shite down

You're using logic when what you should be doing is scream RHEEEEEEE with the rest of the morons who assume blacks are too stupid to get a state ID.
This issue just gets me so mad, can you imagine being a human being and thinking so little of your fellow man that they can't find a way to the DMV?

So when the new law is found unconstitutional and has no teeth are they going to move it back?

Rob Manfred is a friggin idiot.

They probably won’t even refund the fees

It’s Manfred, who fricking knows. I’m most curious to see what Republican run state they could move it to that doesn’t have similar bills in the pipeline or a Democrat run state that will even open the stadium to a crowd enough to turn a profit.

Virtue signaling which gains nothing and potentially loses fans

I used to love baseball, and things like this on top of the Red Sox just bailing on Mookie Betts has completely turned me off. I didn't even realize yesterday was opening day until earlier this week, and didn't notice until this morning the Red Sox didn't play.
People are going to vote with their dollars, and those dollars just aren't going to head MLB's way.

I figured it would go back to LA since they missed out on their turn last year but MLB says that'll still be 2022.
It can't be hosted in Florida, Ohio, Texas or Arizona because those are icky smelly backwards Republican states. Or Canada because Justin won't let us in.

I truly would love someone to explain to me like I’m a 5 year old how requiring a valid ID to vote in an election is racist or voter oppression or whatever?

This is equally as dumb. Just another cancel culture. Won’t watch another nfl game if they take a knee. Won’t watch another baseball game. You are so dumb for doing the exact same thing that upsets you.

Considering the current PERCEIVED, media-generated social climate, it’s really not odd at all.
