They’re back in the finals next year with him, and a good shot to win it. Them not having a true PG definitely hurt them in this series against Golden State.

Marcus Smart is just not it.

Boston would have to give up a combo of Smart, Brown, and a couple of 1st to get Dame, probably.

They're not giving all that up.

Package Smart with something for De'Aaron Fox if SAC somehow get Ivey.

I don't see what pieces BOS has to complete that trade without sending back Brown.

Fox would work too. Smart is definitely expendable, just have to move some 1sts with him.

Point being is they need to upgrade there.

I don’t think Lillard is what they need, I think a pass first PG is but I don’t know if they exist anymore.

Send Brown, Timelord, Pritchard, and 2024-2030 first round picks.

What’s wrong with Marcus Smart?

Dude is more than capable of being the 3/4 best player on a title team.

They needed more from Brown and Tatum this series.

ETA: Smart isn’t perfect but he’s a good player. A guy like Lillard is obviously an upgrade but it’s gonna cost you Brown. I wouldn’t do that if I was Boston

How the hell you gonna blame Smart when Tatum just put up a god awful series against the Warriors and finished the playoffs w/100 turnovers?

The media was right is saying Brown and Tatum needed to be split up.

Celtics ha e too good of a bargain in Smart and Williams, but Brown could bring Beal or maybe Mitchell and Bogdonovic.

Yeah split up the Duo that just made it to the Finals and got past Giannis and the #1 seed to do so.

Brown is better than Beal (Who was terrible this season) and both Donovan and Bogdonovic combined.

P can we talk About how Giannis and the bucks gave up home court in round 2 because they were scared of BKN in rd 1?

Also without BKN having 2 all nba players hurt Giannis playoff resume consists of about 5 2nd rd exits and merely 1 ECF appearance.

The Giannis reverence is a little much for me. He had a Westbrook -like series v Boston. Stunning inefficiency for a guy who plays so close to the rim.

If by right, you mean absurdly wrong, you and the media nailed it.
