There are only two coaches that people don’t think suck. Meyer and Saban. ND hates Kelly. Michigan has turned on Harbaugh. Herman has been awful at Texas. Give it a few years and Texas A&M will be frustrated by Jimbo.
I was all for les miles being removed even years earlier than he was. But I understand AD’s being hesitant to pull the trigger Because it seems the next guy does know better than the current guy.

Should’ve come to Baton Rouge. Much easier “rebuild.” He could’ve been stocked with talent and attracted the top in the country here. Dream schools never work out too well.

Texas isn’t worried about any buyout. They have the money to pull the trigger without giving it a second thought

Why shouldn't his intelligence be questioned? Does being a MENSA member give you a pass on being criticized? I dont get it.
Are you saying Herman's reaction in his press conference after the game was smart and intelligent?
Looks to be a real stupid response based on how the Texas fan base is reacting.

Going to Texas was a nightmare decision, and until the administration backs the frick off and not get political with every decision that is made within the program, it won't go anywhere no matter who the coach is.
It seems like every person associated with the program is on a different agenda, the coaches, the AD, the boosters

That is still not a long list and I actually disagree with a couple of those. Some are good but not elite and won’t challenge against elite. And I’m not interested in excuses for their program. They have all been at their programs long enough to establish greatness.
It’s Saban, Meyer, and Dabo’s world right now and then everyone else. None of the other four you listed are winning a playoff game, possibly ever. Some other unknown team might. Programs like Georgia and Oklahoma are currently in great shape with new coaches that look promising.
It’s truly only a handful who aren’t criticized at some time.
