On behalf of the MSB, apology not excepted.

I've read through the report over the last few days.
It is absolutely laughable from an independence perspective and draws conclusions without backing anything up.
The fact that he came out and called Brady guilty also undermines the entire report. It shouldn't be making any claim like that, just laying out the findings and procedures along with any exceptions.
That is just my IT Audit perspective though

hypocrite (noun): see Robert Kraft
quote:
"The way he has handled this situation himself, coming out with the mea culpa in his statement a couple weeks ago, or 10 days ago, and setting a very clear policy of how we conduct ourselves in the NFL, I thought was excellent," Kraft said on CBS This Morning. "Anyone who is second guessing that doesn't know him."

Love the claims that the deflator called himself deflator in the texts because he was trying to lose weight.

The last time Ted Wells conducted an investigation for the NFL, it cost Jim Turner his job as the Dolphins’ offensive line coach. Now Turner, who was fired because of Wells’s findings in the Richie Incognito–Jonathan Martin bullying case, is firing back at Wells.
Asked on Mad Dog Sports Radio about Wells’s Deflategate investigation, Turner said that when the NFL hires Wells, Wells sets out to find a scapegoat for the league.
“Wells is not a good human being, and when I didn’t give him the stories he wanted, he targeted me as part of a problem in Miami. He’s not an independent investigator, he’s not doing this looking at both sides of the situation, he’s hired by the NFL and he’s going to print the story that they want printed,” Turner said.
Turner says Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was smart not to give Wells the access to phone records that Wells sought. According to Turner, Wells is the type to take things out of context in order to make the people he’s investigating look bad.
“If you bring a car to a mechanic and there’s nothing wrong with it and you ask him to find some problems, guess what? He’s going to find some problems,” Turner said.
Wells found plenty of problems after investigating both the Dolphins and the Patriots. Turner has always said Wells was unfair. Now the Patriots agree.

Really doesn't come as much of a surprise that someone Goodell hires to investigate goes about it in such a manner. Goodell does not care about being fair to both parties but rather getting more headlines and viewers.

Funnier bit; apparently, (according to PFT, so take it with a grain of salt) "deflator" and his friend were fired today by the Patriots.
"Well he was referring to himself because he was fat"; apparently, that's a fireable offense to the Patriots.
As for Kraft, his high and mighty act is bulls**t. Remember that Kraft was totally fine with punishing those teams that didn't go along with the collusion to not pay players during the uncapped year.
That's just one of the dubious acts he's tacitly if not openly supported. Now he's all upset that the same thing is happening to the Patriots?

This is why Jerry Jones came out in support of Goodell and that silly Wells investgation.

Any wedge that can be driven between the most prominent owner and Goodell is music to my ears.
Just need 31 more.

What's more shocking is that grown men with advanced degrees can consistently and repeatedly fumble investigations.

The most fundamental issue in this matter is: DOES SCIENCE EXPLAIN THE LOSS OF PSI IN THE PATRIOTS FOOTBALLS?
Anyone who has had their tire pressure indicator light come on after a cold front moves in to their area will know this answer--ABSOLUTELY IT DOES.
I drove to NW Arkansas on a day when it was warm and humid. That night, the remnants of a tropical storm passed through. The next morning, my light was on.
Thinking I may have driven over something on the road I went to a dealership--turns out that the cold rainstorm caused my tire pressure to decrease below the recommended level.
We know it was cold and wet during the game. So if a rubber tire can lose pressure in those conditions, why can't a football (which has an inner rubber lining)?

So defensive. Makes his organization look guilty.
As opposed to doing nothing and accepting the punishment? If kraft did nothing, you'd be saying he looks guilty by not defending himself.
