Bird is pretty underrated. But, he had a great team too. I think at the least he's better than Magic.

Depends, if you are a bird watcher person then you might take bird, but if you like Spider-Man than MJ is your girl.

Also, I know bird is cool cause he can fly and all, but magic is magic. Like if I can shoot lightning out of my hand that’s better than bird.

if Bird doesn't fix his driveway, he probably wins 2 more rings.

This is a pretty weak attempt. And I know what you're attempting.

He's still in your head.

I still don't understand Pat Riley's quote after all these years:

“If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save a game, I’d choose Michael Jordan. If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save my life, I’d take Larry Bird.”

Uh...okay. But if Larry Bird can save your life (which is more important than a game) can't he at least also save a game?

He’s universally considered one of the top 5-6 players of all time. That’s not being pretty underrated.

MJ if you need a one player team with some good role players.
Bird if you need a clutch get it done at any cost team player.

Both? I enjoyed the unorthodoxy of Bird's legendary style more but Magic was so fluid. God those games were epic and I loved both players, although I usually pulled for the Lakers because Kurt Rambis was just sexier than Greg Kite lol. Throw in the Pistons a bit later and the NBA just doesn't get better.

Same.

Magic played Point Guard, but he won his first NBA Championship playing Center. Think about that.

Players like Oscar, Dr J, and West are better answers

He's saying that Jordan was so talented that making game-winning shots was routine for him.

If he needed someone to rise above their normal capabilities for a particularly high-pressure moment he'd pick Bird because he apparently believes Bird will refuse to fail at that moment.

I don't know that I agree with him but think that's what he meant.
