Is this all because of his 18 year old girl friend?

No. It's because he was repeatedly caught cheating and Goodell shielded him.

The writers know the truth and voted accordingly.

That being said, what’s his record without Brady?

Not many coaches that have multiple SB wins did so with more than 1 excellent QB at the helm.

Honestly, that’s what makes Joe Gibbs’ 3 SBs with 3 different QBs over a relatively short period of time so impressive.

A lot of people like to bring up that season where he went 11-5 without Brady, but forget they returned just about the entire team from a squad that had gone 16-0 the year before. Not only that, they were playing the NFL's easiest schedule that year and still failed to make the playoffs.

His overall record with the Patriots without Tom Brady is 47-57.

So they returned almost the entire team he built and won 11 games without Brady..........

The gymnastics here are hilarious

Seems like the media may have doubly fricked up today

Not voting on Bill and completely running with false news and burying the wrong guy

Polian also went on to say Bellichek is one of his closest friends in his personal life as well. Both Bills got fricked today it appears

Basically, the media screwed Bill Belichick and then ran cover for themselves by trying to pin the blame on Bill Polian. Sounds like something the scummy media would do.

They must all be jealous of that young snatch Bill is getting.

The voters have zero credibility after this. Brady didn't always play great in the playoffs and Super Bowls, sometimes it was the defense that carried the Patriots.

If ESPN fricked this report up, both the reporter and the editor who signed off on it should be fired and an official apology issued from the company to Polian. I worked in journalism for nearly 50 years, this is inexcusable.

ON EDIT: Polian has now told ESPN he can’t recall with 100% certainty if he voted for Belichick.

In an interview with ESPN on Tuesday night, Polian denied telling fellow voters that Belichick should serve a one-year penance for Spygate. But he said he heard his fellow voters "float that idea" but he insisted he didn't agree or disagree with the proposal. Polian said he voted for Kraft and even spoke up on his behalf during the deliberations, saying Kraft had no knowledge of the Spygate scheme. Polian added that he could not remember with 100% certainty if he voted for Belichick, saying he was 95% sure he voted for the coach and a player, "most likely" L.C. Greenwood. "I was shocked to learn Bill didn't get in," Polian said. "He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame."

Yeah if he can’t remember if he voted for him, that’s proof enough there he shouldn’t have been in that room in the first place

Does he really not realize saying he voted for just three people but can only remember one of them doesn't make this any better for him?

The Pats consistently had great defense under Belichick. And Brady had to score exactly once in 2019 to win that Super Bowl.

this stupid argument again? Brady made Belichick, Brady leaves New England and wins in Tampa the next year.

Belichick went to shite.
