Seems like it was yesterday that his dad was jawjacking Boise State players on the sidelines

I remember posting in the game thread. We’re getting old.

What goes through a baw’s mind when he wants to name his son after himself?

Well Blount is 38, and assuming his son is 18, then he was 20.

Either way, the Blount Punch was in 15 years ago in 2009. I ain't old, but his college days were a long time ago ha.

3x Super Bowl Champ and 2016 NFL Rushing TD's leader. But that punch is what he'll always be remembered for.

Crazy that was 16 years ago. From what I remember, the Boise player had it coming. Talk shite get hit.

The one that is really going to mess with you is when Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. gets more playing time at Alabama.

I remember posting in the mega thread on his father’s signing day and people were remarking on how a high school senior had a kid who was already a toddler, at the ceremony.

And now that toddler plays as a back-up at Alabama.

i had to think about this a bit and look it up. Jr. is class of 28 which means he's 15 or 16.

quote:

Blount Jr. -- who is in the Class of 2028

i'm 41 and he's 38. i have an 18 year old senior this year (class of 25) and a freshman (class of 28)

so he probably had him when he was 22-23 like me.

Junior is a class of 2028 recruit, meaning he's currently a freshman. So he's probably 14 or 15

Did a quick google search before I asking, but where is Byron Hout Jr enrolling (googled to find his name) and found this gem from Athlon Sports

quote:

After an embarrassing loss in Boise, LeGarrette Blount decked benchwarmer Byron Hout with a straight right hand. It was the only punch the Ducks landed in a 19-8 loss.

Blount was a thug's thug.

He reminds me of a dude I played with in high school. I'd have hated to play against him, but I sure was glad he was on my team.

That was such a pretty punch!

Bill coached him for 3 years and he had an okay career. He could have been really good but he just wasn't self-disciplined enough.
