About 6 feet for eagle on #11 at Beaver Creek. Two putted one of the easier 6 footers you can have for birdie.

#1 at The Oaks was a short par 4 usually just over 300 yards. Getting to the green off the tee wasn't hard. One day I got my drive to stop about 6ft from the hole. 6ft for eagle and I walked off the green with a par. I have tons of holes like that but that one sticks out. Never really played any rounds of meaning that stand out.

The one in Dothan, Alabama? I played in that one back in the 80s.

I forgot about another instance of mine. I drove the green on #14 at Tamahka (par 4). Ball was literally 8-10 ft from the hole. 3 putted for par.

Playing Old Waverly and on pace for an 83. Which would be awesome for such a difficult course. I had just birdied 16. Then comes 17 and 18. In short, I shot a 92. Finished last 2 holes +9.
Very disappointing.

I went left. 
Tried to hit outta the hazard on 17. Didn't work out. Took a 9. Then pulled my tee shot on 18.

doubled 18 to shoot a 70. that was pretty sad.
I also was playing a straight up match with my buddy who plays college golf. Was down 1 then went birdie birdie to take the lead going into the last hole. Hit it in the Water the hit it OB in the playoff hole. I was pretty crushed

I was 16 years old and hadn't broken 70 in my life.
Par 72, home course which I destroy everytime, I'm 5 under going into 18 and make an 8 on a par 5 to shoot 70.
I cried a little.
Happy ending though, since then I've broken 70 several times
Sad ending now, I can't break 78 these days

In 2000 I played an entire hole of golf naked on Caye chapel, an island off the coast of Belize. It was after about 30 beers and 45 holes in the Caribbean sun, i found myself at the far north end of the island. Par 3, about 165 yards. On the tee box i had an epiphany and realized that the only thing missing from my life was to play golf naked. I actually hit the green even though i was laughing so hard i couldn't see, but i missed about a 12 footer for the bird...... It is a pretty good story that could have been a great one
