Two of the biggest misses I & probably others have made. Thought both would at least have ONE playoff appearance, but alas, just hasn’t been there.

Who is the bigger disappointment to you?

Harbaugh actually did better than I thought he would, still sucked.

Herman has done worse.

So I missed on both.

Harbaugh. Led Stanford to greatness and then 49ers to the Super Bowl. Legitimate reasons to think he would bring Michigan back.

Tom Herman ran up the score on non- P5 schools and parlayed that to a reputation he didn’t deserve. Kudos to his agent.

Herman has definitely been worse. Harbaugh just couldn't get the big wins a la OSU. They had some chances to make the B1G CG and a trip to the playoffs if not for that, this covid year the wheels just fell off.

Herman has been a trainwreck from the start

Just like Mike Belotti, Jeff Tedford and Mike Nolan. They were also hot name coaches at one point.

Harbaugh. Won big in the PAC, translated CFB success to the NFL...and for whatever reason can not seem to get Michigan to be a legitimate threat to win the Big.

Herman was a small school hype guy. The bust rate on those is pretty high.

Harbaugh based on his own accolades and those of his family is surprising.

Harbaugh is doing what should be expected as a Michigan coach. Tom Herman... good lord, you have to be terrible to lose that way at Texas

Herman

Harbaugh is doing the best that can be done at Michigan. Not this particular season, but overall.

I would say about equal.

Both play in conferences where they have one major rival they have to beat. Herman beat OU once, Harbaugh has yet to beat The Ohio State University.

Maybe a slight edge to Herman only because the Big 12 is SO weak outside of OU.

Doesn't he have the King of CFB agents?

I think most knowledgeable fans expected Herman to flop. He won at Houston. So what. A lot of other guys did, and they all flopped too.
