So… his punishment is that he is forced to be in the booth calling in things?

Less than a slap on the wrist.

Should have required Michigan to coach gamedays with Brian Ferentz calling the offense and Alex Grinch commanding the defense.

if they win a game with that combo then they deserve the national championship.

There remains a possibility that on Dec. 2 commissioner Tony Petitti would have to hand the Big Ten championship trophy to Jim Harbaugh.

No there isn't if he isn't allowed in the stadium

An interesting excerpt from the Big Ten's notification letter to Michigan. The Sportsmanship Policy puts responsibility on the *university.*

The league says that this is "not a sanction of Coach Harbaugh" but is a sanction of the university of which Harbaugh "embodies."

I think the Big Ten commish is a coward, waiting to announce this suspension when Harbaugh is at 35,000 feet and unable to respond or pick up a phone. If they have WiFi on that plane I have no doubt they're all losing their shite up there.

And this is coming from someone who has no dog or care in this fight.

Nothing a fake moustache can't fix.

Time to go after Ohio State, Rutgers, etc. for the same shite. Big10 is so frickin' stupid being all morally superior and acting like this is beneath them.

You wanna complete like the SEC, you gotta act like the SEC...The league looks the other away, buries everything, nobody rats out anybody and like a gang keeps everything in house under wraps and carries on being obtuse.

I figured the Big Ten told Michigan before their flight. I guess they didn’t.

So basically they’re saying we want to suspend Harbaugh but have no evidence that directly links him to the scandal, so we’ll say that it’s a penalty imposed on the institution.
