I have literally read at least 3 articles this week alone on violence against tourists in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I get he’s from the DR, but why on Earth, if you had that kid of money, why would you not just move your family to the US??? DR is a 3rd world ghetto country. Hope Ortiz makes it through!

But, I'm sure there is a nice place there he could afford to live. Very nice. Guess he just needs to stay away from the general public there. However, we can't act like he couldn't get shot around some ghettos of LA or Chicago.

Just look at the threads where people discuss the exodus from LA on the OT. You have a lot that say, other states just didn't feel like home, and they moved back to Louisiana. It's a comparable feeling.
