Anyway, heard on the radio this morning that Ben's attorney is not going to let him submit DNA samples. They're probably going to try to force this into a "he said, she said" type case where they try to dig up as much as possible on the alleged victim, air dirty laundry, and try to tear her down (refer to the Kobe Bryant case...).

That's the typical rape defense, especially when you have money, and that's another reason that many women don't step forward when they are raped or sexually assaulted.

Heard that on the local radio today. Thing is, those guys are off duty Pittsburgh cops who are working for Big Ben. The last part, to me, is more important than the first part.

What's also important to me is the fact that Ben and his attorney are NOT cooperating with the investigation. The Milledgeville police have been wanting to interview and collect DNA samples from Ben all week, but they've refused both. I'm not saying that their essentially pleading the fifth is a sign of guilt, but it doesn't look good, especially when you add in the track record.

At the least, Ben is a douchebag piece of trash with an entitlement issue. I honestly hope that's all that there is, but I'm not confident that's the case.
