Nah, your the Moron :)

Pippen sat out the last play, to sulk while they lost game 3 by the way.

and I've already said I'll take Pippen for this.

So you want to defend Melo by saying Pippen couldn't carry the Bulls to a championship?

Never said that. Said they didn't count on Pippen to carry the load and Melo has been asked to do it his entire career. There is no way you can leave that out of consideration.

Well

A) We'll never know what Melo would do in that spot cause they can't even get to it.

B) Melo is one of the whiniest players to ever play in the NBA so to act like he's on some moral high ground over SP is ridiculous.

C) Dude played 2nd fiddle to MJ his entire career, was an amazing player, and had to endure the opinions of people like yourself on this thread about the caliber of player he was. Of course he wanted his one moment in the sun. To be honest, he deserved that moment and it was kind of shitey of PJ to not let him have it.

Good God, when I first saw the thread title my first thought was how did such an obvious answer get to 6 pages. And then I read it.

Thank you so much to all you who think Melo is better than Pippen for whatever reason. Best laugh I've had all day.

Pippen, and it's not even close.

Pippen was much more quicker in his prime than Melo.

easy to say now. Melo is about the same age Jordan was when he started winning titles.

Never said he was on some moral high ground. Scotty did that and at the time it was one of the biggest bitch moves in the history of basketball. Has nothing to do with Melo.

Yeah, its not like Phil Jackson knows what he is doing right? Get a F'ng clue man. There is no defending that move.

Pippen was a better over all player then Melo, I've said that a few times already. But, to act like it isn't even close when Melo is obviously a better scorer is just wrong. Just like thinking the Knicks won the NBA title that year was.

I honestly can't believe I'm in this thread arguing with someone debating this. Arguing basketball with someone who thinks that Carmelo and Pippen are on the same playing field is just silly really. We won't agree. I guess I'm just naturally prone to defending No Tippin Pippen cause he is legitimately one of the most underrated players of all time to the new generation of fan that likely didn't even watch a single game of his.

I'm 36 man. lol And again, I am taking Pippen in this Comparison. You on the other hand are playing the "guys were better back in my day" card. The Knicks are 3 and 1 against the Heat this season. Want to know why? Melo averaged close to 40 a game against them. Pippen would never do that in a million years. To say Pippen is underrated is fricking ridiculous. He is a top 50 player of all time. He won 6 titles with MJ..... everyone knows he is great. I just think Melo is probably a little better then you give him credit for and this is closer then you think it is.

Anthony was a major part in the turn around of the Denver Nuggets from league laughingstock to playoff contender. In the season before Anthony was drafted by the team, the Nuggets finished with a 17–65 record, which tied them for worst in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers. They finished the 2003–04 campaign with a 43–39 overall record, qualifying them as the eighth seed for the post-season. Anthony became the first NBA rookie to lead a playoff team in scoring since David Robinson of the San Antonio Spurs during the 1989–90 season.[14] In the 2004 NBA Playoffs, the Nuggets faced the top-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round. In Anthony's first career playoff game, he had 19 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, in a 106–92 loss at Minnesota.[33] The Timberwolves eliminated the Nuggets in five games.[34]

That's his rookie season. Should I go on?

One on one Pippen is better. As a teammate Pippen is better. Pippen was far and away the better defender, ball handler, passer and penetrater.
Melo has a better jumper, and even then only marginally.
Considering these facts, please explain to me how it is that Melo is a better player than Pippen ?
Im interested to hear ypur rationale.
Unless you're just being contrarian. Or trolling. Or just being your usual dumbass self.
On second thought, im not really that interested.
