No. The following year Lewis was injured and Henry shared carries with Travis Stephens.

Only 14 have more career rushes than Ball actually.... And after today only 7 have more rushing attempts.

Not sure what you are looking at but

Ron Dayne
Ricky Williams
Herschel Walker
Tony Dorsett
Deangelo Williams
Travis Pretence
Cedric Benson
Mike Hart

Thats 8 with more carries I am sure there are way more.

Mark Ingram was one of the key pieces in the restoration of Alabama. He was incredible in 09 and head and shoulders above any rb on the roster that year. He may be a scrub in the NFL, but he put that 2009 offense on his back and the 09 championship wouldn't have happened without him.

Ingram. Balls numbers are incredibly inflated.

Saban didn't leave his starters in to score 70 points against Indiana

Mark Ingram single handedly crushed LSU in 2009. That's why they soooo mad.

You'll never get a fair answer to this since Saints fans loathe Ingram for whatever reason. Ingram carried our team a few different times in 09 en route to a SEC and NC. He's the answer to your question.

Monty Ball = No hardware

LSU fans should be accustomed to this "Battle Cry." Hell, it was the TD official motto in the offseason between 2008 and 2009.

Ingram is the better back if you look at it intellectually. Ball had better production mainly from the number of touches (lack of sharing past 2 years) as well as much lesser competition he's playing against. I don't think the separation between the 2 is very much though.
