Ball
He is also way more durable and will have a better pro career.

Ball>Gerhart=Richardson>Ingram

they will both (ingram is now) be 3rd string running backs at bottom feeding nfl teams behind 2 guys that went to Southwestern alabama directional school.

Ball was more productive, but Ingram was better. He won the National Title, the Heisman, and played against better defenses than Ball has ever played against.

Ingram had one of the all time great rushing seasons in SEC history. Hard to argue against him.

Jamal Lewis is another RB that had a great year, back in 97.

I'll probably pick Ball.

3+ years starting on a running system team with an expanded schedule (12 games + CCG + bowl games)
Ball has 900 career carries I think its safe to say MANY MANY runningbacks have had more and don't have half as many tds
Only 14 have more career rushes than Ball actually.... And after today only 7 have more rushing attempts.

Ingram 1658, 17 TDS, 6.1 YPC

Yeah but Lewis played with Peyton. He threw 35 times per game.

DeAngelo Williams had a few great seasons at Memphis

true...Richardson stole carries from Ingram too though. 145 to be exact.
